Summary: What better way to take out Godzilla than to make Godzilla! Of course, the only way you're going to copy the monster king and then some is to make it out of metal. It's not like there's any big G's lying around these days.

History: A creation of the simian aliens from the third planet of the black hole (whew!), Mechagodzilla came to Earth looking like a decoy of the real Godzilla. This was a means of fitting in before confronting the real thing. As it turns out, this metal copy was more than a match for Godzilla, and it would take assistance to beat it, which did indeed happen. But Mechagodzilla's defeat at the hands of his counterpart and King Caesar would not be the end. The aliens repaired and upgraded it, used human cyborg Katsura Mafune to control it, and paired it up with resident sea monster, Titanosaurus.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Mechagodzilla was first taken out when Godzilla unscrewed its head off. Following that, a tellingly headless but still active Mechagodzilla was taken offline when Katsura heroically sacrificed herself, allowing Godzilla to blast it into a ditch, ensuring that it never rise again.

Powers/Abilities: Mechagodzilla is a walking armory, being made out of near-indestructible space-titanium, and able to fire lasers from its eyes and chest, shoot rockets from its fingers, spin its head fast enough to generate a force field, and fly. Later, not even decapitating him like before will stop him!

Weakness: Before upgrades, you could twist its head off. Then you had to disable its source of control. In this case, a cyborg girl.

Scariness Factor: 4.5- Mechagodzilla is more than a match for the monster it was so coldly based off of. With its plethora of weapons and the ability to be upgraded for the most malicious of means, Godzilla's lucky to have come out of every with it alive.

Trivia: -A real-life mecha-kaiju does indeed exist in the form of Robosaurus, a transforming 48-foot semi-trailer/robot T-Rex known for ripping apart and burning vehicles at shows. Don't worry, it's operated by humans, not evil aliens.

-The designs of the aliens that crafted Mechagodzilla was said to be influenced by the "Planet of the Apes" series.

The aliens just went all out with this attempt.

About time someone ended this facade.

3 against one is never fun.

You can tell Titanosaurus is wishing death upon those who forced him into this life.

Okay, REALLY?!

Hail Caesar!

"Fooled you! I'm two steps ahead, as always!"
